Restaurants in the Greater Shepparton area have been invited to promote the use of pears in their menus during the Pear month of March.

1/ Confit Duck on a mushroom & leak ragout with a pear poched in shiraz and a dark chocolate infused red wine jus.

2/ Atlantic salmon on a pear, rocket, spanish onion and walnut salad.

3/ Caramelised Pear and peach tar-tetin with double chocolate ice cream.   Over the following days and weeks we will also have specials incorporating pears.
