The 2008 Pear Bake Off was held on the 23rd November, 2008.

CHAMPION of the whole competition was Garry Honig, Mooroopna Bakery, for his Pear Pie scoring 85%
There were 25 cakes and pies entered in the 2008 Pear Bake Off.
The judging was conducted professionally by staff from GO Tafe Shepparton who had no idea of who the contestants were and awarded marks on the external appearance, the internal appearance and taste.  Thanks to Kim Bamfield and Steve Pinick for their time and we will look forward to their involvement again next year.
